Real Estate Office IT Setup – Network, Server & Backup
🎯 The challenge
A real estate brokerage office in Langley, BC needed a reliable, well-organized IT setup to support a busy team of agents and office staff, with fast internet, a central server and protected business data.
🛠️ What we did
- Rebuilt the network rack with a labelled patch panel and clean structured cabling
- Installed a Cisco SG220-50 managed switch and a UniFi Dream Machine Pro firewall and gateway
- Set up a Dell PowerEdge T140 server for the office
- Installed a Datto backup appliance to protect business data
- Installed the security camera system and its NVR recorder in the rack
- Set up staff workstations, including dual-monitor desks and the open-plan agent area
✅ The result
A clean, organized network rack that is easy to support, an internet connection tested at 331 Mbps download and 133 Mbps upload after the setup, and workstations ready for agents to get straight to work.
